A big weekend: we welcomed Theodore John to the world and the girls won silver in a soccer tournament in Indy!

First day of school for an 8th grader and two 5th graders!

Gwen and Josie had some friend fun at the neighborhood happy hour, and Abby wrapped up her fun week at Girl Scout camp today. Her unit leader shared: “She was an awesome PA! She is so patient with the littles and an all around amazing helper!” She’s already saying she wants to be a PA again next year!

Two hours was plenty of time for this crew at the Zoo today. Lots of fun, but tiring and hot! Grammy may never leave the house when she has four boys to take care of!

Three days in a row!

Another day, another trip to KI while Abby was at Girls Scout Camp! It’s official: Gwen, Josie, and I have ridden every ride! 💯 % club!

While Abby is having the best time as a PA for pink unit at Girl Scout camp, all Gwen and Josie want to do is visit Kings Island. As of today, Gwen and I have officially ridden everything and Josie just needs to ride the Beast.

A fun summer swim and dive season wrapped up tonight. Josie wrapped up her season with on second and three first place ribbons at B swim finals, and Abby completed dive with a 5th place (out of 14) finish at A dive finals!

As the girls would say, SMOOSE trip to Kings Island. Sophie, Josie, and Charlotte showed some bravery (peer pressure) by riding some of the big coasters!

Third annual SMOOSE family Fourth of July at Harbor Beach!

Her message to John: “This is Josie………THAT WAS THE BEST SWIM MEET EVER!!!!!!! First I swam a 200m medley (the breaststroke leg) and we got third place overall! Then I swam a 50 free and got third place overall, again. After that I swam a 50 breaststroke and dropped three seconds and got third overall yet again 🙃. Then this part was the best part of the whole swim meet! THE 200m FREE RELAY!!!!! My team was Lucy Homm, Mia Moyer, Jocelyn, and me. WE WERE DA DREAM TEAM!!! Lucy was first, then Jocelyn, then me, and Mia was last. We were in 1st place during the whole race! And we won first overall!!!!!”

We had a great time in Louisville even though Alex Morgan took the night off!

13 celebrated, and pierced ears for three!
