We finally had a chance to meet these cuties yesterday!

Finally! A real snow day! No school!

We had to enjoy NYE solo this year, but still kept up our tradition of celebrating with the Sammuts by meeting up for some ice skating a few days later.

Girls, I don’t know if we’ll be able to get together to carve pumpkins this year. “But, Mom, it’s a tradition!” And so we did!

These girls had their best soccer season so far: lots of growth, more aggressive. Definitely two of the best players on the field!

We are so happy to have Girl Scouts back in our lives! Today was perhaps my best Girl Scout idea yet: a Halloween hike with activity stations and treats. It was so rewarding to see the field’s smiling faces and hear their laughter!

Rainbow! First one I’ve ever spotted in Madeira. Must be a sign of good luck to come, right?

This cat! He was sleeping like this on Abby’s bed! I plopped myself down right next to him; didn’t move a muscle. Abby poked him with her pillow. Only after the third poke did he mutter an almost inaudible murp. Cracked open his eyes, rolled over, and went back to sleep.
