Mooserific!

The girls all had their first soccer game of the season today! Everyone had a great time. Abby’s team won! Gwen and Josie’s team played hard, but were outmatched by some older girls.

Easter fun!

We expected to like it, but the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry did not live up to the hype.

The smiles on their faces while playing at Maggie Daley Park were priceless.

The most liked part of our morning walk along the Magnificent Mile was the stop at Dylan’s Candy Bar.

We also loved riding the free trolley to Navy Pier, taking a crazy high ride on the ferris wheel, and cruising around Lake Michigan. Some sister time walking from the Magnificent Mile to the Bean was fun too. John and the girls enjoyed their Chipotle picnic.

I think we now understand why Clara likes Chicago so much. Day 2 was loads of fun! We loved the highly interactive Chicago Children’s Museum!

We had to drive through a snowstorm, but we found nicer weather (and Auntie Clara) in Chicago! We visited the Lincoln Park Zoo, enjoyed a Shake Shack burger, and had a fun time swimming. Not bad for day one!

While I hoped it was the last hurrah of winter, Gwen and Josie were thrilled with our unexpected snow squall.
