Preschool playgroup fun at Summit Park

The water was freezing, but still we swam, devoured delicious pizza and ice cream, and had a great last hurrah at the pool.

First the ice cream truck visits and then your parents finally say yes to a sleepover – if you’re Abby, life is very good.

Gwen and Josie were both so excited about their first soccer practice of the season. They both did great! Josie was a surprisingly aggressive offender.

Our past few days included preschool playgroup, a family hike at the Cincinnati Nature Center, and the first dance class of the season.

Deer and bunnies are not the only ones trying to keep us from enjoying our tomatoes. Today we learned about tomato hornworms and braconid wasps!

Solar eclipse 2017 – 90% coverage in our area. Abby was at school, Josie was vaguely interested, but Gwen checked it out every 10 minutes or so with me.

Abby told us today that there are two things she doesn’t like about our new neighborhood: the ice cream truck never visits, and we don’t see rainbows. Well, we can now check one thing of her list!

It was exciting to see so many friends at preschool playgroup today! It looks like our Fridays may still be fun and friend-filled this school year.
