Here is our house as we listed it in June of 2014. I think we did a good job.

Here are the photos from the listing for our house when we bought it in 2010. I certainly don’t miss the dark colors and the famous “banana boat” fan. It’s amazing to look back and think about all the changes we made since then. Some highlights:

• painted every room
• replaced all the carpet
• replaced every light fixture and outlet
• replaced every door knob and hinge
• added window trim in the bedrooms and kitchen
• updated the deck

We came a long way!

A new chapter begins for the Moose family tonight. Our house went on the market today. We scheduled our first showing within the first hour of it being listed, and they’re coming back tomorrow morning. A good sign, I think. I hope…

It was a beautiful morning for a walk across the Purple People Bridge and a picnic at Sawyer Point.

This is how these under-the-weather girls got creative on their rainy day. They colored with markers in the morning and then painted in the afternoon.

We all enjoyed a happy fourth birthday with our sweet girl today.

I asked Gwen to smile and she gave me these winners.
